U2’s lead singer Bono is not only considered one of the most famous people in Ireland for his artistic work with the rock band, but also one of the most influential people because of his impressive philanthropic work over the years. It started in the 1980s when he joined the Conspiracy Of Hope tour for Amnesty International, and then he kept fighting for human rights, proper economics, AIDS research and awareness, fighting poverty, and many other things.
