Much like his grandfather, Fabien Costeau is
known the world over for his passion for conservation and the ocean. He’s
visited underwater shipwrecks from the Civil War and even gotten
up-close-and-personal with sharks. Nothing is beyond him. But this latest
mission was unlike any other for Fabien: this time it was personal and oudid
all his expectations.
He set sail for the western Caribbean sea in 2018 off the coast of Belize in Central America. His goal was to probe the depths of the world-famous Blue Hole, which is the largest marine sinkhole on the planet. What he would find in its dark and murky depths would astound the world of science.
