Avoid painkillers

The New England Journal of Medicine says that taking too many pain relievers such as Tylenol leads to 5,000 cases of kidney failure in the U.S annually. So much is too much? Experts have discovered that taking painkillers after or while fasting is potentially the most harmful. But this does not include taking mild painkillers for migraines along with food.

The problem with painkillers is that they reduce the flow of blood to the kidneys which has adverse effects on the body, according to Stanford medical professor Dr. Grant Lipman.
