Paris, the city of Light, is known for many of its wonderful sights and romantic streets, but it is also famous for its lovely canals that are very popular spots for Parisians and tourists alike to go for walks and learn more about this incredible city. But unfortunately the canals are now far from being as lovely and relaxing as they seem due to years of pollution that have turned them into filthy bodies of water. The authorities are however trying to work on that and to bring them back to the clean state they once were in. So they started with one of the most famous canals, the Saint-Martin Canal, which hadn’t been cleaned for 15 years.
