Melissa Smith, a local woman from San Diego, California, was just going around the city for some work and to run some errands that day, and she didn’t expect it to be particularly different from any other day, coming across friendly faces and going from store to store.
But someone else caught her attention outside the shopping centre – a young pregnant woman who was begging outside with her young son, and had become part of the local scenery.
