A great career

The Antiques Roadshow started filming in 1979 in the United Kingdom thanks to a traveling appraiser who loved antiques, and then extended to many other countries such as the United States. David Weiss was one of those experts who was particularly knowledgeable about European art, and when the young boy brought his portrait to the show, that came in handy. His main job was Senior Vice President at Freeman Auction house, but he also took part in the show on the side. But that wasn’t even all. He had many occupations and also was a lecturer at Drexel University, teaching business-related subjects.
