If you cycle to the beach, it is pretty important to have a safe space to lock up your bike in case you cannot take it with you. But if beaches often have a rack so that people can lock up their bikes easily and walk up and down the boardwalk, some people however have been known to use bike racks to lock up other things… In this picture, for instance, you can see that this beach goer decided to lock up their pair of flip flops on the bike rack. Pretty funny since flip flops aren’t that expensive and the very large lock probably cost more than them. But well, you know what they say – better safe than sorry!
