Chris knew that his son could have handled second grade perfectly fine, so he was worried when he realised that Kamdyn didn’t actually seem to be able to manage it. From everything he knew about his son and his character, it was very unlike him to fail at school and to lose his motivation. So in the end, when Kamdyn came back home with a note from Alyssa Rupp Bohenek, the father started to wonder if his son’s difficulties had something to do with his teacher. And although it was just an intuition at the time, he was soon to discover he was completely right.
