The coastline and nature of Hawaii makes it
the perfect place for a getaway. Hanakapiai Beach in particular is an
incredibly popular tourist attraction for those who visit Hawaii. While you are
encouraged to work on your tan, you will not want to get into the water unless
you know what you are doing.
Unpredictable winds and strong currents mean that swimmers can easily be carried away from shore and dragged into the sea. Apparently, a man who works on the island once saw two children being pulled out. After a helicopter search, the boys were found alive, but others may not be so lucky.
