From homeless to looking like a model, the makeover of a lifetime for José Antonio

With no income, Antonio needed to find a way to make some money so he could buy food and drink. Eventually, he started to help the people of Palma find parking spaces in the city. Thanks to Antonio’s work ethic, he earned himself the nickname “The Spirit of the street”. For those close to Antonio, they called him “Josete”. Having lived on the streets of Palma for 25 years, Antonio knew the city like the back of his hand and knew most of the residents. Living on the streets caused Antonio to develop serious health problems. Antonio developed hearing and sight problems from long hours spent in the sun and his feet always hurt from spending hours standing and walking about. Also, living on the streets altered the man’s appearance, in age he was 55, but in looks he seemed older. But one day, one resident would take an interest in the homeless man. Salva Garcia was a local barber, he offered Antonio an opportunity of a lifetime. He decided he would give Antonio a complete makeover for free.
