Susan Sarandon grew up in a huge family with eight siblings, and she was the oldest. She had a lot of responsibilities when she was younger, and this included taking care of her brothers and sister. Her days were spent either studying or helping around the house, and because of this her dreams were put on hold for a few years. It was only when she went to college that she was able to focus on her ambitions and she was set on becoming a Hollywood star. Susan’s first big performance was in The Rocky Horror Show in 1975 which released shortly after her graduation. After her successful performance, she got cast in many other classics like Thelma and Louise, and The Witches of Eastwick.
