Nicknamed “The big unit”, Randy Johnson was an incredible pitcher for 22 seasons, for the Seattle Mariners and then for the Arizona Diamondbacks. As you can see, he did a lot of weightlifting to make sure he was on top of his game. He was also the fifth most successful left-hander and made 4,875 strikeouts, which is the most ever by a left-hander. That means he is just behind Nolan Ryan in terms of rankings.
