When we think about California, we might mostly think about the lovely weather, the national parks, the beautiful architecture, and of course Hollywood, but next to all the wealth in the state, there are also plenty of poverty and homeless people there. Melissa knew that this was the case, particularly because she kept noticing the pregnant woman at the shopping mall. She explained: “It made me feel bad. There is a lady who is pregnant and also has a little boy who is down on her luck”. But still, she wanted to know more about them before having a straight opinion on it.
