With a year round warm climate, Nevada might seem like a great state to retire and enjoy sunshine or recreational activities. But it is far from being all positive – the state has got a very high cost of living and a pretty high criminal rate, which wouldn’t make it your dream state. For older people, living in one of the US states with the highest crime rate might not be the dream, but it doesn’t even stop there. It also has some of the worst senior health ratings and a shortage of healthcare professionals and doctors, which means life expectancy is at a low point too.
