The icy Canadian North is pretty well known for being a tough environment and somewhere with sub-zero temperatures, which doesn’t make it the ideal place to create new forms of life. But it doesn’t change the fact that there are people living there, and that Victoria Island has a population of two thousand people. Of course, given the fact that it is also the same size as Idaho, which has a population of over a million, it says something.
