Melissa was born to be an actress, so you can bet that she didn’t stop after the show. She was just 20 years old when the show came to an end, so she had a long journey ahead of her. She gave outstanding performances throughout her career, and even got nominated for many accolades. She met the love of her life, Micheal Sloan, on the sets of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and they went on to work on many projects together. After they got married and had two children, Melissa decided to head into retirement because she wanted to dedicate her time to her family. In 2010 she published a memoir called The Way I See It: A Look Back at My Life on Little House.
