When talking about heroic animals, most of the time you expect to hear about cats or dogs, but did you know pigs can also perform heroic acts? In 1998, Jo Ann Altsman suffered from a heart attack in her trailer in Pennsylvania. She was staying there on her own with her pet pig, top call for help. Lulu, a 150 pound Vietnamese pig, ran through her doggy door, straight onto the street where she laid down and played dead. A driver saw Lulu lying on the floor, they stopped to help the pig, but she sprang back to life and ran back towards the house, where the driver heard Altsman yelling, they then called 911.
