In 2005, a group of seven men kidnapped a 12 year old girl, holding her for a week, their aim was to force her into marriage. However, their plans were thwarted by “Kings of the Jungle”. A trio of lions heard the young girl’s screams, the lions investigated the origins of the cries, thinking it was a young lion cub in danger. When the trio of lions saw what was happening, they chased off the kidnappers, but that wasn’t all, they also stayed with the young girl, keeping her safe, until the police and her family arrived to take her home.
