Famous for their futuristic and wild designs, Saab brought their Aero-X to the 2006 Salon International de l’Auto. Equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine running on ethanol, the Aero-X also looked exactly the part for a car coming from the future. For most people, it was very impressive thanks to its canopy opening up, and people even talked about it being featured in Transformers. But to everyone’s disappointment, Saab ended up running out of budget for it and never managed to build the car, and they never came close to making a similar model.
