When remembering his childhood, Damian recalls he did not have many friends coming to his house because of all the potentially dangerous animals. He felt much closer to animals than other humans.
“You don’t organise playdates when you have tigers in your garden. Most of the time it was just me and the animals. To be really honest, I’ve always felt disconnected. Humans let you down but animals never do. They’re much more honest and pure”, Damian told the Daily Mail.
