Creating this unusual dam on the canal, workers then started to drain the water, making sure they were not going to drain all of it away since some of it needed to remain there for a very specific reason. It wasn’t all dirt and unusual things in the Parisian canal. There were also some fishes that the workers needed to take care of. But that was going to be pretty easy for them, and they wouldn’t need any new technologies to do it, as they had decided to just grab them by hand with long nets, rescuing the aquatic wildlife in a more traditional way in the end.
