Although Olivier Véran, the French minister of health, advised people with the virus to switch from Ibuprofen to Tylenol, it has been stated by many other health professionals that there is actually very little knowledge about coronavirus and Ibuprofen, and that nothing proves that it makes it worse.
In many cases, it is impossible to tell whether Ibuprofen alone causes kidney complications, or if it is linked to Covid-19 as well. So it might be better to hold on for studies and real advice from the World Health Organization before making any rash decision.
