Amongst 32 artists to perform at Woodstock was Jimi Hendrix. And the icon performed a real show with his white leather and blue-beaded fringed jacket. He was the last one to perform but he did it in front of only 30,000 music lovers since many of the attendees had already gone home because of the bad weather and rain. He performed for two hours with his new band Gypsy Sun and Rainbows and delighted everyone who attended, creating a defining moment of the ’60s. He might have been the last one but he was also the highest paid, earning a nice sum of $18,000.
