Karen Grassle’s acting career excelled after Little House on the Prairie and she took up many roles that were completely different to her role as a mother on the show. She started to be more active in theater and she was the star of the show, Premier Bathrooms. She often guest starred in movies and TV shows as well. In 1978, she went on to co-write and act in Battered, which was a huge hit and one of her biggest achievements till date. Right now she lives in the San Francisco Bay area, and plays a big role in the local theatre community there.
